- Although validity is arguably the most important concept in language assessment, it is rarely discussed in the context of EFL classroom settings. The aim of this webinar is to provide pre/in-service teachers of English a general overview of the concept of validity, charting its development across time and identifying its implications for EFL classroom assessments. The webinar will offer some suggestions to meaningfully discuss and establish validity for both formative and summative classroom language assessments in the context of recent policy reform in Chile -Estándares de formación inicial docente-.
